About Ucodiesel
A renewable substitute for fossil diesel.
Ucodiesel is a B100 biodiesel made entirely from used cooking oil collected from hotels and restaurants. It can be used directly in diesel engines or blended with fossil diesel, without modifying the engine.
Using biodiesel instead of fossil diesel reduces greenhouse gas emissions and gives used cooking oil a use that does not harm the environment or people’s health.

How It Is Made
From used oil to Ucodiesel.
We use a Fuelmatic GSX 3 batch processor from Green Fuels, UK. Every batch goes through six steps:
STEP 1
Filter
Solid particles are filtered out of the collected oil.
STEP 2
Remove Water
Water is separated from the oil by phase separation.
STEP 3
Test
The oil quality is tested to set the right chemical doses.
STEP 4
Transesterify
The oil reacts with methanol and a catalyst to form biodiesel.
STEP 5
Separate
Glycerin settles out and is separated from the biodiesel.
STEP 6
Polish
The biodiesel is polished in a dry washer before it is ready for use.

Boilers for hot water and generators, including standby power.
TRANSPORT
Vehicles and Boats
Cars, trucks, shuttle buses and excursion boats. Green School Bali has run school buses on our biodiesel since 2016.
INDUSTRY
Industrial Users
Industrial equipment and standby power, as a substitute for fossil diesel.
Quality is tested by an independent laboratory, with ASTM D6751 and EN 14214 as quality targets. The by-product glycerin can be used to make soap.
